Sherlyn Dorsey is the Founder and CEO of People Development & Training, where she partners with organizations to strengthen leadership, service, and culture in people-centered environments.

With more than 25 years of experience across training, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, Sherlyn’s work sits at the intersection of human behavior and business performance. Her academic background in Psychology and Sociology, combined with graduate degrees in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, allows her to approach development work with both depth and strategic clarity.

Throughout her career, Sherlyn has supported leaders and teams in navigating complexity, pressure, and change. Her work focuses on helping organizations clarify expectations, strengthen accountability, and build the systems that support retention, engagement, and consistent performance over time.

Sherlyn’s approach is practical, people-first, and grounded in real-world experience. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, she designs intentional development experiences that align leadership behavior, service expectations, and feedback in ways that organizations can sustain long after an engagement ends.

As a facilitator, speaker, and strategist, Sherlyn is known for creating space for honest reflection while maintaining a clear focus on outcomes. She believes meaningful progress happens when people feel supported, expectations are clear, and systems reinforce what matters most.
